Children of Incarcerated Parents Speak for Themselves

On November 1st, 2009,  Davian and Kai Reynolds, were high school teens speaking out with peaceful and compelling voices.   They spoke of growing up with their mom in prison, and then building with her a collaboration of advocacy and understanding. They advocate The Children's Declaration of Rights, urging society to take seriously the dignity and care of children experiencing the arrest and imprisonment of their parents. The Reynolds family grew with their hopes through help from the Church of Gesthemane, and they have shared their stories internationally in their effort to "be the change (they) wish to see."
